Welcome to Project Mongoose

Welcome to Project Mongoose, the codename for a Medieval Nation Simulation. The game will be free to play and allow players to create and take control over a nation and lead them to victory both on the battlefield and in the economic arena. Players will interact with each other forming alliances, imposing trade embargo or declaring all out war.

More information will be posted as it comes in, expect a flurry of activity in early September.

I'm here and watching the blog via Google Reader. Good call IMHO moving it to this format Lundy.

  2. Here. I disagree with Red. I would have prefered a forum. *Hates blogs with a passion*

  4. Do not worry Reian, a forum WILL be up and running later this year. Red is correct, for this stage of development this format is the best choice. That being said a forum (the new one or the old one) will be up and running for the Alpha Test.

  5. Even if you kept this whole thing on a blog, I'd probably stick with it. Not counting Coloholics Anonymous (which has a community made up of assholes and dipshits), you're the only nation game in town

  6. I only every browsed that site, looked promising but never really peaked my interest? What makes them assholes and dipshits? Are they immature, always angry, or are they just plain stupid and don't know it?

  7. You have to rp with them to get a good picture of it. Some of them are workable people, but most of the nation rpers there just aren't, IMHO, people worth rping with, for a vareity of reasons.

  8. Fair enough. On a more humorous note I just typed a massive post and submitted it only it didn't show up. I tried to go back through my pages but couldn't. I just lost 30 minutes of work....I may or may not retype it tonight, stay tuned.

  11. In response to the forum to blog format, the forum will not be up and running until the first phase of testing begins. We will keep the blog after the forum is running.
